Fellow artist and photographer, Gary Denton, takes magnificent photographs. I met Gary on FaceBook through another friend. I was immediately drawn to his work, and apartment bound here in NYC, I asked if I may paint from his photographs of the rural mid-west.
He generously agreed and I've started to create a collection of acrylics based on his original source material.
It is a unique, subjective, and rewarding experience to explore another person's art, and to record those impressions and feelings.
